Default A plea to fellow passenger betrayed by Delta

This one really amazed me. I have been flying Delta for years but over the last couple their attitude has really gotten worse and worse. This one threw me over the top. There are not many choices between Boston and MSP but I have now gotten 6 people in the medical device business flying back and forth regularly to agree to stop using Delta. Everyone in the med tech sector going between boston and msp please join me.

Delta used misleading and false advertising and charged me and then refused to deliver the service or refund my money. I went online and enquired about changing my flight but did not want to change if I could not be issued a seat on the new flight. I was told on the web site that the change fee and difference in fare was 315 dollars and there were seats available they showed up on the seat map. It instructed to complete the payment and then select a seat. Sure enough I paid but then tried to select a seat and it said all seats were blocked. Okay fair enough they made a mistake or all seats filled up in the seconds between screens. So I called and asked them to either issue me a seat or refund my money. The flat out said they would do neither and went on to blame it on the FAA. I dont understand that. I think the refusal to either issue the promised service or refund my money is theft.

I agree. Yiu should see if you can screen capture the oage. I think you would win in smalls claims. The offer you accepted was conditional, they failed to meet those conditions... It is a simple contract law case. There was no "meeting of the minds" and this contract is therefore invalid. You are entitled to a full refund. I doubt Delta would go all the way on this... They will cave just before it gets to court.
