Refund for unused tickets
In 2016 we planned to travel on Etihad from DFW to BOM. We made resrvation and paid US$5550 for 2 business tickets. Unfortunately as the time for departure came close my wife fell sick. We cancelled the trip on medical grounds and requested a refund for this genuine issue. We provided our doctor's letter stating the facts.Our travel agent tried to convince the airline and asked for the refund. Etihad customer service refused to refund our money forcing us to resort to other means. Our medical ground was real and genuine and Relevant details are as follows:
Travel Date: 26 October, 2016 from DFW.
Tickets purchased date: 9 April 2016.
We sent official complaint to the main office in Abu Dhabi but have not received any response. We are waiting to get our money back. Thanks.
