Checked in on line, printed boarding passes. Got to gate and were told we were. It checked in and the first class seats that we paid for were not available. Had to wait while everyone boarded (and loaded the upper bins) for United to figure out what to do. Finally gave my husband and I seats (apart). All the while the United people were very rude!:mad:

Please write in a manner that one can understand the problem. Did you purchase tickets from United and pay for first class?

Purchased first class tickets from United months ago. Checked in online, printed boarding passes but were denied plane access at gate and told we were not checked in. Understand?

Hopefully your credit card company can charge back the difference in price from coach to first class if you fight the charge.
