Passenger Service Agent Jobs

I for one would like to see this "JimWrocs" apply for one of these positions and walk a mile in a CSA's shoes.

Who 's jimwrocs?

Yes, Jim works, he doesn't rock. But you know, I would love to see Jim try to work as a customer service agent for a year.

I worked in an Emergency Room.... I have worked with people who are highly stressed, had to wait a long time, under the influence of drugs and alcohol, were at times aggressive and abusive. At no time did I find it necessary to lie to them or speak to them in a disrespecful manner. I don't think I would have the skills necessary to be a CSA for an airline.... I am just not obnoxious enough.

Well said. It doesn't get any more real life or deadly serious than an emergency room. At an airline, everyone will wake up the next day and be able to deal with their problems. Same can't be said for the former. Airline agents AND their customers are a pack of whiners.

Apples and Oranges.

The_Judge Sep 30, 2012 8:43 PM

How so? Are you saying an emergency room attendant could not handle the pressure of an airline employee's job? I've never worked in an emergency room but I've spent a fair numbers of days behind a gate. I'd be willing to bet an average E-room employee could far better handle the pressures of an airline job than the reverse.
