Delta Price Match
 

Went to Delta.com to book at trip for my wife and I to Hawaii this summer. Quoted $2589. Just for fun, I searched Kayak and found a Delta flight for $1875. I booked it and Kayak sent me to the Delta.com web site, where I signed in, used my Delta.com personal info and paid with my Delta SKYMILES Amex card. I got the receipt from Delta Airlines for both tickets a few minutes later. No mention anywhere that these are tickets that Kayak found. I called Delta a couple days later to inquire, as after reading further on the Delta receipts, it said I got no baggage allowance (Gold Medallion and SKYMILES Card), no mileage credit, nor am I even offered an opportunity to upgrade to Delta Comfort as well as not being eligible for a normal upgrade due to Medallion status. I was told that I had to file a price match within 24 hours of booking the ticket. I didn't want any money - already bought the ticket. Just wanted the benefits of being a loyal Delta member which have been denied to me and my wife
