Stop the spam

Please do something to stop the spam (porn adv) on the two sites at the top of your website. It is only a matter of time for them to start posting on the forums regarding airlines.

They have... look in the Southwest airlines tab

It seems airline complaints are going to have to become like tripadvisor or cruise critic. They have someone read the post before it can be posted. Otherwise all the trolls posting on this are going to ruin it.

I don't think that the moderators or people who set up this site care anymore

Our site was invaded by spam bots that were posting spam automatically all over the site. It was not easy to clean up as there were so many of them, but we have now finished cleaning them up. If we missed any, please report them so we can clean them up as well.

We are working on a fix so that the spam bots cannot register automatically to spam so that this does not happen again. Please bear with us.

Thank you so much for responding. Good luck in keeping the spam bots out.

It looks like you got hacked agian!

Although we have been able to greatly reduce the number of spam bots and the volume of spam affecting the site, preventing 100% of spammers from registering will be virtually impossible.

Therefore, we have come up with a new solution to this problem: we have granted both Phinu and A320FAN the power to clean up spam from new users.

Phinu, A320FAN, all you have to do to clean up spam from now on is to simply click the username in the spam post, and then just click the "One-touch Ban & Clean" link to both get rid of all that spam user's threads/posts and ban that spammer.

This way, you don't need to report the spam and wait for us to attend to it and you can take immediate action to keep the site free of spam.

This power is only to be used against spammers, not legitimate posts you may disagree with. With great power comes great responsibility, so if you use this power to censor users you don't agree with, we will be forced to permanently ban your account.

We appreciate your support for our mission and thank you for your efforts.

Please acknowledge below that you understand your new powers and commit to using them responsibly.

Thank you.

I will use this ability judiciously.
