i was in new jersey for 4th of july and it seemed like where i was they were charging for everything and anything to make money from anyone and taking advantage of everyone, since they know that kids want the toys and everything, and saw fireworks

i am here in singapore and witnessed a great scene on national day, you didnt have to pay for anything (get in, drinks, etc) and many places were giving out toy stuffed lions (singapore is known as the lion city for when the first settlers arrived, and the landmark is the merlion) we watched a great show put on by various groups to show the history of singapore in its 44th "birthday" of independance, we saw the police at work, the navy, and the airforce do flyovers and than witnessed fireworks, all for free, which seems amazin since i spent $50 just to see fireworks in my town back in the USA, and the people over here were very polite and asked how everything was and if we enjoyed it, and this one old lady helped a stranger out who was drunk and if you didnt enjoy it than the people would try anything to make your time better and leave you on a good note

i just took the tiger beer tour with my family, $7, and at the end of the tour there was a free flowing bar/pub, and everyone was as a whole, everyone joking with one another, playing pool, darts, and just laughing, you dont see that back in america, and thats why i love it over here in singapore and many parts of asia

but back to the post, the customer service is tenfold better over here and everything is more personal and they like to make sure the customer is happy and at least here in singapre they are very diversitised and help anyone and everyone, which i think if you call a office here with a problem than they will most likely be able to help
