If this is the case, Singapore Airlines are responsible for the actions of their agents. If United sub contract calls to India and a customer has complaint about one of the call centre workers, they cannot simply be told to take it up with Mahanagar Telephone in Mumbai. United are responsible for the actions of their agents and Singapore are responsible for the actions of theirs. If SriLankan is contracted to provide ground handling, ticketing, etc on behalf of Singapore, then the customer should have their complaint resolved by Singapore.
