Sorry for the loss and damages to your stuff. The problem is with the Army bags is that the clip on the top of the duffle bags almost always come loose. I would suggest in the future, no matter what airline you are flying on, putting a padlock on it to hold it closed. The TSA opens pretty much every military bag because of all the gear you carry, it's most likely that they didn't latch it back correctly and then in the process of all the transfers and baggage belts and so on, it came open. I think it is pretty safe to say that if it had come open while our personnel were handling it they would have put your boots and shirt back in and closed it up.
