1st, i would remove your address, we dont want or need to see it......just for security
secondly, im sorry about the expericence, and the costs that were incurred such as the phone call but thats mainly to do with the telephone company rates not theirs, even though they should have toll free calling.
SPAM email i would semi defend him, only because i get emails from coworkers and they sometimes go into my spam/junk folder, email isn't perfect........but as a complaint it should be seen.
And if a letter is that long then i can guarentee that no one would read it just because of the length and many people simply dont have the time to go through it. The shorter the sweeter and right to the point. I don't know many CEO's that have the time to read a 2hour document or would have their assistants do that, they want to see the main points and thats that nothing more nothing less, the less time they spend on it the better. If it is a company important letter then they would have prior knowledge so it wouldn't be too critical to miss all the fine print (lawyers will figure that out)
I would send another email that highlights everything and every major event you bold to emphasize
