Psycho flight attendant - 11:50 am San Diego to San Francisco 07/30/2011
My son was on a flight yesterday, that should have left at 11:50 am, but departed at 12:30 pm, returning from a business trip. He had a very bad head injury in trying to stop muggers two years ago, from robbing and old couple, and when he flies the altitude hurts his head. On top of that he ate something that made him sick during the flight. He was in the restroom, for quite some time, and people were banging on the bathroom door, so he took position on the galley floor, so others could use the restroom. He put a cloth on his head and stayed on the floor. The flight attendant (do not know his name, can only describle him as Phillipino) rudely ordered him back to his seat. My son explained that he was sick and did not want to throw up on the person next to him and the attendant demanded he go back to his seat. My son complied but when he got to San Francisco he was arrested by the police and the FBI. The attendant decided to call ahead and told them my son looked like he might have a bomb under his suit jacket. My son told them he was sick and he was informed that he was not allowed to be sick on the plane. No one could see the attendant laughing except my son. He was interrogated and detained at the police station. They put holds on his credit cards which he just found out about now. I understand we need to have security in place, but this treatment was totally unjustified and uncalled for. This flight attendant should lose his job, but instead I am sure Southwest is praising him for his actions.
Do not fly Southwest if there is any chance you are sick or will get sick as this can happen to you too! It appears they like their employees to be psychotic.
