Lisandra, so sorry to hear about your experience. As you’ll see in this forum, Spirit has horrendous customer service and you should not expect to speak with a live person or get any compensation as a gesture of goodwill. However, based on your comments it does look like that you are entitled to a refund for the unused portion of your ticket.

You mentioned that you had to go through Customs, so I assume that you were connecting in Fort Lauderdale from another Spirit flight.

Where did your flight originate, and was Fort Lauderdale your only connection? If you missed your connection due to a late inbound Spirit flight, you are entitled to a refund for the FLL/MCO portion.
