This is truly appalling and yet not shocking, given how arrogant these airlines behave.
I think you have a case here - you took all precautions and informed all the involved people about your allergies and concerns. Yet, you had to go through a terrible experience and be ridiculed by the airline. The icing on the cake is the announcement made by the pilot at the end of this. It is grossly unfair that the pilot can announce this but you have not chance to present your side of the argument. Obviously the passengers would be ****** of at you (they don't know the true story).

I would say you should go to the press with this. You should also send a 1-page letter describing your experience succinctly. I would just stick to the facts directly related to your experience on the plane (strip out the stuff about allergies and when they kick-in, etc.). At the end of the day, whatever policy they have, if you called and told them multiple times about the issue and they waited for the last second to talk about the medical clearance, it is THEIR fault. Not yours.
