ANA (ALL Nippon) Airlines deceptive promotion
ANA (All Nippon Airlines ) is , for a limited time, running a promotion entitled "Economy Class - Pleasant Trip Campaign" which allegedly provides privileges such as free lounge visits to economy class passengers who purchase "normal" economy class (Y) fares. My wife and I recently flew to Japan and China on ANA and were informed on arrival at the airport that his promotion applied only to "premium" economy class passengers. We used the North American ANA site and booked directly through ANA. We don't know if they have translation problems or what but "normal" is different than premium in my book. Very deceptive if you ask me. Wish I knew where to file an official complaint ( not to ANA - already tried that).
