Cool So, let me get this straight...........

Let's say Target is having a "SALE" on widgets ($100 each). Today is the last day of the "SALE" so I buy one, for $100. Tomorrow I go back to Target, for something else, and walk by the widget rack. Just out of curiosity I look at the “regular” price tag hanging off one of the widgets. (Mind you, there is NO LONGER a "SALE" sign on the rack). To my dismay I find the price has been marked down to $75.

At the very LEAST there is something “morally” wrong with this picture. On the other end of the spectrum there is something illegal—false advertising!!! Albeit different, it's somewhat “akin” to the old “Bate & Switch”.

What I would expect, from American Airlines, is they “man-up” and do the “right thing” (refund the difference). That is yet to happen.

P.S. Had they not advertised the original fare as a “SALE” I’d have no beef with them—luck of the draw, if you will.
