flight #555 ORD to CZM
Upon arrival at Cozumel airport via United Airlines, we were notified that one of our suitcases was still at O’Hare airport. We found out that it would be sent on the next United flight from O’Hare to Cozemel. The problem was that United’s next flight would be the next week, the day we would be returning to Chicago. It took several conversations and phone calls to get a special high level manager to agree to send the suitcase via another airline. It arrived two days later.
It was only because one of our group has “premiere status” with United, and pushed the issue, that United agreed to send the suitcase. If it were not for that, United would have done nothing to resolve their mistake.
