Angry American lost my business

I made reservations for a party of three to a wedding in Tampa Florida from Milwaukee for next October. Somehow the wrong childs name got put on one of the tickets. Called American to have it changed as we were not close to the flight date. Their response was you have to eat the cost of the ticket and rebook. We will allow the other child (who is now married and not living with us] to use the ticket for a year. They are young marrieds and could not afford to go. so American just cost me 300 for the old ticket and have raised the price of rebooking to 400 so I am out 700 dollars for one ticket. I will never book with them again. They can change or do whatever they want to; they just wanted to grab the money. As far as I am concerned from now on I will not even consider a ticket they are a part of. Will pay more to other carriers just to avoid them. The name change would of cost them nothing. They just blew me off.
