I took Air Canada to Small Claims Court and won!
It only took close to two years, but I got my money back.
Based on my ordeal, I created a web site http://www.aircanadians.com/ to push for a law protecting us, the air passengers in Canada! You can find info on this site that might be useful in dealing with carriers in Canada. Lets get organized and push for a law. I'll start a new Facebook group for this cause. Based on my decision all passengers of flight AC 033 of December 20th, 2008 from Toronto to Sydney (Australia) as they have a precedent to rely on if they want to sue Air Canada in the Small Claims Court like we did. They have only until December 20th, 2010 to submit their claim. If you know anyone that was on Air Canada’s flight from Toronto to Sydney (Australia), AC033 of December 20th, 2008 forward them this site and make them aware that they have a deadline to submit their claim. |
