United Newark Club converting to Polaris
Today United announced to United Club members that they are converting the United Newark Club at Terminal C120 to a United Polaris lounge. They state that the other United Clubs at this airport will now be full. This is an outrage! They are essentially taking away the key benefit of club membership, one that requires a hefty annual fee. And they have the gall to say in the same email "Your travel experience is important to us." This airline has quite simply become incredibly greedy as they cater more and more to the wealthiest customers and leave the rest of us in the lerch. I am thoroughly disgusted.
