I had a booking for a return flight from LHR to MLB via Bandar Seri Begawan on 21st March 2020. While waiting to check in a rude woman took my passport from my hand and told me in a rude manner to remove myself from the check in line. I told her that she was obliged to find me an alternative airline to get home on but she said she wasn't and handed me a card with an email address on it to send an email to. I proceeded to the next area where Etihad were checking in and asked an Etihad rep if they were going onto Melbourne. They were so I purchased a ticket with then which cost me $A1875.91. On my arrival home I contacted the airline and my travel agent and the travel agent has responded with a no refund message. The airline will not refund me the cost of the ticket from LHR to MLB on the 21st March or the ticket I purchased with Etihad. This is completely unacceptable and I want to know if there has been other instances where this has happened.
