Default Intentional absence of a bag drop off makes Cebu Pacific a scammer

We came to the airport early. We checked in using the electronic kiosk, of Cebu Pacific. We got a boarding pass and baggage tags then we were about to drop off our bags they say we missed our flight and Cebu Pacific made us pay an additional USD 200.00. There were only few people in the check in counters and there was a long line. There were no bag drop off area for those who used the kiosks.
