[What I did] I did online check-in at least a week ago, double checked online check-in on 5/3, 5/4 and 5/5 morning. My online check-in was valid and booked a seat which is 46D.
[What UA did] I wait in the line for 1.5 hours, and they told me my flight got cancelled with no apologize, just told me to wait in another line for almost 2 hours. There are 20+ passengers are in same situation. There was a lady looks like a lead or manager on the floor, she is really bad tamper and be frankly, kind of racialism. Treat non-US people not in a good way.
[What I got] Two coupons, one for hotel which is $56 and one for dinner is $10. And I have no choice but to stay for one more night.
[What I feel] It's an awful experience, especially experiencing other US services which are terrific. But as a foreigner, I have nothing can do and nowhere to ask for help. There is absolutely no so called human rights I can feel here. It's terrible and it's my last time fly with UA.
[What I am going to do] Escalate to my corporate travel agency about this case and will never fly with UA for any business trip because it just not right. I feel sorry for this airline! This kind of company need to be erased from service industry. But I love U.S. overall since my most experience in this country is GREAT. UA is a shame of this country.
