Given meal vouchers by United for a cancelled flight and a 24 hour delay, the list goes on, but when I tried to use these on board, the flight attendant was clear they could not be used on board. How ridiculous is that? I made sure and spent them all and then gave the food away to the homeless. Once they have you captive again, they could care less. They just want your money. So I was hungry on the ground and in the air thanks to United!

The meal vouchers are for use inside the airport only. Onboard United and most other airlines, if you want to purchase something you have to use your debit/credit card only.
