COMPLAINT: New Hold Time Record

Don't know where else to vent. Had to ask a simple question to Air Canada Vacations today prior to a flight tomorrow. Called their support line and was on hold 5 hours, 39 minutes. WOW. I waited the first 4 as I was working in the house, then left the balance running while I went out just to see how long they'd leave me.

Thankfully, I called Air Canada direct (am a 10 year+ Elite member) and got my questions answered well before ACV ever answered, but had to hang in to see how long ACV would leave me hanging.

In the past, its never under 45 minutes and usually an hour plus to get through (pretty sure they have one rep) but this took the cake by a mile. Easily the longest I've ever waited and I'm a customer who has spent many 10's of thousands with them.. Nice.

Gotta think that's the last time I frequent them. People have been complaining about their hold times for years and the never do a thing.
