Default my horror trip with ethiopian airlines

May 26 2016 i flew back to germany Frankfurt from Addis. I still remember it as the worst day of the year. As i entered the plane in addis i checked in at the aircraft my baby troller and car seat.hours later I arrived in frankfurt but my brand new baby trolley and car seat did not follow... at the exit of the plane where i was told to collect it there was no troller...no one to ask and no one who cared. Was standing there looking for help asking the crew and the pilot where my troller was..10 montgs baby in my arms.. the personnel was not cooperative at all. After being left alone for about 30 minutes a guy showed up to close the gate. I explained i am waiting for my troller.. he told me no one is here so i should collect it with my other lagguages. I went to baggage claim but my baby troller and car seat were not there so asked
around and was instructed to go to bulky lagguage area.. the receptionist confirmed it was the place to wait.. big relief but for a short time cause after another 30 min of waiting still my troller was not coming. Finally i decided to go to the claim desk... surprise surprise no one at the desk. No information on how to contact them neither...waited another 30 or 45 intil someone from another airlines managed to get the number of the claim officer and called her. She came 15 minutes later. I explained the case ...still baby in arms and asked for a temporary baby troller. The answer from the women was... I am not from ethiopian airlines i work for a company who just register claims for ethiopian airlines thus i can not provide any help. And atill it was written in big ethiopian airlines on the screen. After 3 and a half hour of suffuring i decided to cancel my next trip and just go to a freind place and collect my baby troller later when it comes with the next flight. But the troller was still missing a day after. After a lot of correspondence with first the luggage handling company then the claim department who took so long time to declare the luggage lost, they offered me a very low compensation. I rejected their first proposal because the reason for the amount proposal was because 'manager decided it so* the revised proposal is still low.* I tried my best to discuss with them and even tried to go through the passenger protection association who proposed ethiopian airlines to pay me better. Still strugling ......but my experience can give you an idea of what to expect if you decide to travel with ethiopian airlines
