We booked return tickets for two from Hong Kong to Ningbo at CNY3912 per person. However, the return flight from Ningbo to Hong Kong was cancelled due to Cathay Pacific's strike and unexpected cancellation of flights. We were only informed of the cancellation in early morning of Aug 5, several hours before departure.

On our schedule, we must leave Hong Kong to overseas on Aug 6 midnight, thus we had to book another airline to arrive in Shenzhen from Ningbo on Aug 5, and go to HK from Shenzhen by taxi, which together cost us around another CNY1315 per person and much inconvenience caused by Cathay Pacific.

We called Cathay Pacific customer service on Aug 5 and want to refund the ticket. Today on Aug 10, we finally received the refund, at merely CNY90 per person, which is insanely little as compared to our original Cathay Pacific return tickets at CNY3912 per person and new ticker we paid at CNY 1315 per person.

We are deeply astonished and angry about what has happened and hold huge disappointment on this irresponsible wrong doing of Cathay Pacific. We demand a full refund of CNY3912 per person and another CNY3000 compensation per person to cover to extra expense, and disorder caused to us on Aug 5.
