lost luggage - no compensation
We flew Airtran in Janurary 2013 from Orlando to Memphis with a lay over in Atlanta. Upon arrival to Memphis, our bag was lost. They found the bag in Denver but it took 30 hours before it was delivered to us. It was a nightmare trying to communicate to Airtran - everyone I talked to had a different answer than the previous person I talked to. Very bad customer service.
In the end they left a message on my home machine saying they were upgrading our seats on the return flight and were going to give us a free round trip ticket for the inconveniences we experienced. Our seats were upgraded but when I call back the number regarding the free round trip ticket they said they knew nothing about it and transferred me to a supervisor who never answered and did not have voicemail. Now they will not answer or return my calls. Can't believe no one from Airtran can help me and I've called five different numbers and sent a complaint via the website.
