I would like to express my disappointment from your unsatisfactory level of service. I have expected much more from a prestigious and reputed Airline of your standard. Unfortunately, I can’t help but submit this letter of complaint hoping for a fast and adequate resolution. On the 18th of May 2016 I purchased an airline ticket for my sister at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Rightfully so, an amount of ZAR 14,683.23 was deducted from my credit card. To my surprise an additional ZAR 14,683.23 was further deducted on the 20th May 2016. Basically I have been charged twice for the referenced flight. On the 23rd of May I contacted your call center where I have been advised that an investigation has to take place and one of the consultants will be in touch with me. I have not had any feedback from you consultants and I continue to call your call center daily. Note: - With each passing day I'm incurring bank charges for a now overdrawn account - With each call I make to your call center daily for which I'm put on hold for 10 to 15 minutes, I'm losing money - Due to the double charge I'm now out of pocket and have had to seek funds from my colleagues to finance my immediate expenses Out of goodwill is there a plan to compensate me for the above listed due to poor service and time response? I hope you agree with me that this is not acceptable under any circumstances. I trust that you will deal with this issue in a top urgent fashion. I also trust that you will take the necessary precautions to prevent such incidents in the future. Regards, Adrian Sibanda

You have only been waiting a few days. I have been waiting for over 3 months to get my money back from American Airlines. 3 months and I'm still waiting.
I hope you don't have to wait as long as I have. |
