Don't plan to be there on the day you booked
Don't plan to be there on the day you booked! Not one flight from Delta left on time, delayed at least two hours! They overbooked a flight by 9 people, nobody offered to wait for another flight, so they just took the people waiting closest to the door. They refused to let a baby on-board! Poor handling of flights, compensation was terrible, couldn't even get us on another flight, had to ship us over to LGA! Rude customer service. All flights delayed for no apparent reason, it was not even foggy!

funny thing with the weather... it doesnt just happen on the ground where you are, there is weather at 30,000 feet you cant see... yeah, planes fly that high

that date you posted this was a pretty bad weather weekend.. and JFK is KNOWN to have air traffic problems being such a large international airport.
