Our flight was delayed several hours because of a supposed "storm" at our destination. We were sitting next to someone who was on the phone with another person at our destination and it was a mild storm at best. Planes fly in storms all the time with no issue - this wasn't a tornado or hurricane or anything even serious. Their pilots were just too scared to do their jobs. Never flying Delta again. Looking at all the reviews about them I was obviously stupid not to research before hand but NEVER AGAIN will I take this crappy airline. Also they feel the need to kill the air and lights while making you wait for nothing to happen. I fully understand that things do happen and planes do get delayed but not for piddly crap like this. Utter incompetence on their part. - don't fly this airline unless you could really care less about when you arrive at your destination.
