The story is very long and complicated, but here is the short story:

* Purchased a ticket for a friend through the Turkish Airlines website, received the electronic ticket, everything looked perfect. The next day my friend is denied to board the plane because "the ticket was cancelled due to a VISA payment problem" !!! I did not receive any notification of any sort that the payment was faulty so that I could intervene in time, and all subsequent phone calls have proven useless.

* When calling their Customer Service/ Support Center they have an extremely long (and completely useless and idiotic) questionnaire and it drives you in endless loops perhaps purposely that you renounce to complain !!!

* When finally reaching a human being to talk with, the discussion was equally useless and nonsensical.

I will definitely avoit this airline at any cost in the future, even if I make a huge detour !!

That's it, Turkish Airlines !!!
