Thumbs down Poor service

My son borrowed a new carry on bag from us and left it in the plane when he was rushing for a connecting flight. Since this was not a checked bag , I was unable to file a claim. All I wanted was to speak to a real person. After many many phone calls and many emails to AA, I continued to receive automated emails from them . The last one telling me to file a claim for lost baggage which was the wrong information. I finally reached someone today who told me that they would investigate this an get back to me by Monday. I am sure that no one will get back to me . All I wanted was to know that someone was looking for my new bag which, by the way , was labeled . I have called Boston,Texas, and Cancun. This is so frustrating . I will never fly AA !!!!!! They have horrible customer service. K

It's a good idea to call the actual baggage office at the airport where your son landed right before leaving his bag. Flight attendants turn in lost items to the gate agents once everyone has deplaned and those go to baggage services. It's likely that whatever airport he was at when he lost the bag will be the best help.

Default Poor service

Thanks, I did that and also sent several emails and wrote a letter . Still no bag! He left it in Dallas and I have been dealing with them . Thanks for the help ! Denise
