Hi,

I had made a booking with etihad - which i later got cancelled a day before my travel. i am appalled with your level of commitment to refund the amount for cancellation. I have till date called your consumer care numerous times and have been promised always that the refund will reflect in my next billing cycle but till date i have just been waiting(its been nearly 5months). Do let me know about my refund without further delay.
Below are the dates and the customer service reps iv spoken to since the 15th of Dec 2011.


Najeem - 15th Dec 2011 - Asked him to cancel the entire tkt and process the necessary refund. he informed it would take 21working days for the refund to process and an amount of AED250 would be deducted for the same.
Pasha - 25th Jan 2012 - Said the booking was only cancelled and no request for a refund was raised, and that he would do the needful. I asked him to call n reconfirm the same- he promised to in the next 2hrs...but never did call back.
Elsa - 26th Jan 2012 - Called as Pasha hadn't called to reconfirm the refund-was informed the refund request STILL wasnt made. She said she'll follow up and call back by 27th---never called back.
Aisha - 28th Jan2012 - Said she'll put the refund request and that it'll cost AED370 contrary to what i'd been initially informed. I obviously agreed as wanted to get over with the ordeal. She said she will get back. ofcourse she never did.
Charmaine - 02nd Feb 2012 - Said she has made the refund request while speaking to me and the refund would happen in 7-10days
Midia - 19th Feb 2012 - Kept me on hold for over 35mins and said she's Processed the refund and it would show in the next 21days.
18th March spoke to someone who refused to give his name and was extremely rude-said the refund may take another weeks time.
Today is the 3rd of May.

I got a call from EY call centre and said that the refund will reflect in my next billing cycle. They have promised me this twice already but it hasnt showed up yet. is this how etihaad plans to make profits.

lt is outrageous and a poor standard of service by anyone's standard. Well done for keeping such good records.
