Default Dog in Cargo, RSV Big Mistake

flying europe to the states with my dog in cargo. made the reservation via phone. arrive at the airport and had already dropped the dog at cargo when was told that due to embargo the dog could not return with me to europe. i could not pull the dog from the plane, i had no one to take her home and no one to care for her there. i was attending a funeral in america and could not miss this flight. once in america had to find boarding for my dog until the embargo is over. for Three Months. not to mention i had to leave my beloved dog behind in a foriegn country. i expect some sort of compensation from delta and they offered me $100 voucher. seriously?

The first obvious question I have, is why did you have to bring your dog on a short trip? Especially an International trip where so many laws are involved with pets?

I doubt you will get anything from the airline, as they are bound by Federal laws concerning the transportation of animals.
