Flight for 3 pax, Chicago O'hare to La Guardia NY, July 1, 2016.
All 3 of us on Economy Plus tickets.
Hand Luggae x3 taken off us at the door of craft as all stowage was already full. We are in Econony Plus but they had allowed Coach passengers to take stowage space.
Boared plane and sat on tarmac for over 2 hours due to weather, all asked to disembark.
Customer Service desk managed to put us on flight to New Wark airport same night but without any checked luggae nor 3 x hand luggage taken off us at craft's entrance.
All baggage arrived next day and we discovered that each of the 6 were tampered with, stolen items and damaged item.
Reported via phone ( 1.5 hours wait to be told to fill a form on line)
It is now November 14 and our claim haas not been addressed appropriately regardless of numerous phonecalls (each with at least 40 minute waiting time) and numerous un answered emails.
The only communication was top ask us our bank details so they can reimburse funds for the loss and damage, this was over 1 month ago and to this date, NOTHING!
I still am waiting to hear an official acknowledgement of EACH item stolen so we can clain on insurance.
United have not adised us if THEY are reimbusring for the losses, they just asked for bank details and thus far, no funds received, no communication.
United Airlines should be trully embarrassed with their service!
