Angry No blankets, no matter what

I was traveling with two kids, one of which had asthma attack on the way. We were coming back from a very HOT place so all 3 of us were feeling as if we were on ice beds. I kept on begging for blanket at least for me sick son but we ere not given. I was told that if they give us the blanket, they would have to give others too. If there was an option of buying blankets, we would have but the option was not given. Four hrs of flight seemed like it took ages and all of us are sick for last 5 days after the flight

I'm pretty sure they don't give out blankets on four hour flights, but I'm not positive. Was it a night flight?

Hi,

Without knowing the airline and route, it's kind of hard to say.. There are in many cases today, flights where blankets are just not provisioned-- or put on the plane-- so to that end, if they're not there, they're not there..

but...

if there are some, then I'd think that a reasonable decision be made.. The notion of "if we do for one, we will have to do for all" isn't and entirely untrue statement.. I can tell you that if other passengers saw one person getting a blanket but they were denied, we'd likely hear "they are so unfair" or the like..

So I do think that there's something to be said for equality.. whatever it is, everyone will be treated the same, under the same circumstances.

but again, we would have to know was blankets even on the plane? that would be the first bridge to cross..
