Two of us flew into Barcelona from Melbourne, leaving on July 6,2016.
The flight details were SQ208/06JUL/SQ68/06JUL.
James Houghton and Stephen Hicks.
The bikes, in black bike bags, failed to arrive in Barcelona and we reported the fact to the agent Swissport and were told the bags had been left in Singapore, and would be forwarded on to us two days later (Sat July9) on the next SQ flight to Barcelona.
The Swissport file reference is:
Despite repeated phone calls and emails to the contact details given to us by Swissport, we have had NO response from them whatsoever for four days.
As we are on a prepaid cycling holiday that has already commenced here in Spain, the failure to not only deliver the bikes, but even to respond with any information as to their status and whereabouts is causing us considerable distress and frustration.
We are both regular users of Singapore Airlines over the years, but we are appalled by the lack of follow up to a mistake made by Singapore Airlines and the disasterous effect it has had on our long planned holiday.
