Virgin Atlantic Complaints>Denied boarding

MY WIFE WAS DENIED BOARDING AT IGIA, NEW DELHI ON THE NIGHT OF 13/14TH MARCH, 2017 SAYING THAT VISA FOR USA IS NOT VALID. VIRGIN AIRLINES STAFF INSISTED UPON THAT SHE SHOULD BE IN POSSESSION OF PLASTIC GREEN CARD. SHE HAD I-551 STAMP WHICH WAS VALID FOR ONE YEAR BUT THEY DID NOT HONOR THAT STAMP AND ASKED HER TO GO OUT OF AIRPORT. NOT ONLY THIS THEY DEDUCTED FIFTY PERCENT OF AIRFARE IN REFUND WHICH IS ALSO NOT RECEIVED. MY WIFE TRIED TO SHOW THEM USCIS SITE WHEREIN IT IS CLEARLY MENTIONED THAT I-551 IS VALID FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR UPON ADMISSION. SHE SHOWED EVIDENCE IN HER PASSPORT FOR HER ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE IN USA ON l-551 BUT THEIR UNTRAINED STAFF RUDELY DENIED TO HELP AND NOT ALLOWED BOARDING. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SHOULD TRY TO AVOID TRAVELLING ON VIRGIN ATLANTIC AIRLINES AS IT HAS BECOME WORST NOW.
