On our Vueling flight from Granada to Alicante (via Barcelona) on 11 June 2016 we had to swap planes in Barcelona due to a "technical problem". Vueling did not transfer the baggage from the faulty plane to the new one! laughable really (NOT!!). when we arrived at Alicante, guess what - no luggage! Approx. 100 people were affected. We finally received our baggage 2 days later on 13 June 2016. We had to purchase replacement toiletries and essential clothes and underwear to last the two days. We sent in a claim for our expenses to Vueling, on 05 July; 06 July and 11 July and the silence has been deafening!
We now want to complain to the appropriate airlines governing body. does anyone have any suggestions as to who is the best organisation for this? |
