Cancelled my reservation without my permission
I am supposed to be leaving tomorrow on a flight from FLL to Denver for our annual family vacation and signed on to check-in and get boarding passes ahead of time (travelling with 2 adults, one infant (3 seats together) and two dogs. I was told that I (me) called a week ago and cancelled my reservation. This is totally untrue and all United could tell me was that it was on the 22nd and 6:55 a.m. when I allegedly called. Now I am flying in a middle seat with my 9 month old on my lap and my husband somewhere else in a middle seat. We made these reservations months ago. I can't believe this can happen and we are considering suing the airlines, as we are both attorneys for something, not sure what, but am sooooo unbelieveable upset, can't stop fuming!! Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a ploy to fill up all of those empty middle seats? Thanks. MZ
