We recently took our family holiday to Florida from Aberdeen Scotland. Our problems started when ever we arrived at Aberdeen Airport we were flying with Air France to Paris then with Delta to Atlanta then onto Orlando. First off all the flight from Aberdeen to Paris was 35mins late in leaving and when we did eventually get aboard the plane there was no apology from the pilot or any off the crew. When we did arrive in Paris there was no one there to tell us how to get to the next gate.
We met some other people that had come of the same flight as us and they were in the same possition as us if not worse as one off the ladies was pregnant.When we did eventually find the gate we had to run about 350-400yrds before the gate closed.When we were sitting on the plane my daughter noticed 1 off our cases was lying on the runway and sure enough when we did arrive in Atlanta we had 2 cases missing. To be fair to Delta our cases arrived 2 days after our arrival, but i put all the blame on Air France if the flight from Aberdeen was not late then everything would have been fine or even if they had an employee waiting in Paris to help guide us to the next gate that would have helped.
I had heard from various friends about how bad Air France and Paris was but i decided to give them a chance, but from now on i will be AVOIDING AIR FRANCE and CHARLES DE GAULLE airport.
P.S. I also forgot to say that a family 10 with small children did miss the flight to Atlanta.
