Default Etihad forced to gate checkin my 4 cabin bags and STOLE one BAG with all valuables

Flight EY-274 -Dec 4th 2016


Etihad Airways Team,

While I appreciate your efforts in trying to help me find my missing bag, I am still appalled and very very much disappointed on how your system is functioning with all the series of BLUNDERS continued happening in pursuit of my suitcase ( Case Ref Number: HYDEY17900 and Bag Tag Number: EY785082).

1. The Bag checked in at gate some how magically missed loading on the same flight while three other bags just loaded fine, except for this one with my valuable goods.
2. Not sure, how can a WRONG name be printed in my 4 luggage tags after scanning my Boarding pass -- I am not sure whether correct software or system is in place with your airlines, if there is one.
3. Series of miscommunication about my luggage from Abudhabi team or NO communication from Hyderabad team leaves me baffled about your process.
4. Latest communication says that "We confirmed with our transfer facility here in Abu Dhabi that your claimed missing bag was forwarded/reflighted onto EY 214 on the 6th of December (apologies for stating EY 270 previously), possibly under tag number EY505921 that had the original bag tag AA008955. This flight departed at 0249 hours/06Dec Abu Dhabi local time."
5. All my other checked bags (5 of them) came after 6 days to my hometown --- two of them are damaged beyond repair.

Based on your recent updates, How do I search for my bag ?? using which tag number ?
Should I be following up with you with Original Bag tag I have known -- EY785082
Or the new possibility you mentioned today - EY505921

Please Please Please let me know how do you want me to proceed working with you to help me find my missing bag and end this nightmare of travelling with Etihad, its OVER A MONTH now without any resolution to my case. I believe its STOLEN by organized criminals within Etihad team.

Also please update my contact details in your website or case as below (coz I am now back to my home in US after a messed up vacation and nightmare did not end yet, All credits to Etihad Airways)

Default no response from etihad on this site....

I received this from Dept of Transportation today.

I advise everyone to report in the site https://www.transportation.gov/airconsumer

they are planning to take action based on the number of complaints they get in a month, Your logged in complaint will help you and many others like you who were having troubles with airlines
