Jetblue stranded Passengers in Vegas. Would not hold plane for 5 minute
Several of us checked in at Vegas today to try to go to Austin. When we checked in The flight showed late and that we would miss our connection, but we were repeatedly assured that the connecting flight out of long beach (1416) would be held. 5 minutes prior to boarding we were informed that this was no longer the case. My guess is flight operations did not want to miss an on time departure out of long beach and threw us overboard for 5 minutes of time ( all we needed were 5 minutes in Long Beach to make the Austin flight but we were told someone in corporate made the decision to strand us. If they had been honest with us when we checked in, we would have made other arrangements, but it seems honestly is in short supply at Jetblue. There was a young lady who was trying to get to Austin for the birth of her niece. She broke down and cried, naturally when they pulled her off the plane ( yes they made us all de-plane). The ground staff here in LV working for Jet Blue were VERY nice( Yvonne, Eddie, Tammy, Amy) but the attitude of jet Blue corporate was amazingly poor. I gave you guys a try ( I usually go American) but I don't know why I would ever try again if you absolutely do not care about your customers at all. For a 5 minute delay in Long Beach Jetblue inconvenienced all of us and broke that young ladie's heart. as a courtesy. They could have handled this so much better but unfortunately it seems that passengers do not matter to Jetblue at all.
