My Bag Lost from Check-in Counter!!
I was travelling by AI-217 flight to Delhi-Kathmandu on June 5, 2016 (13:05 hrs). My suite-case bag (a dark brown colored, SAFARI brand, about 18 KG weight, inside clothes, shoes, suit, fruits and some certificate/documents) was left at the check-in counter of Air India during baggage check in process. We were 8 people for group check-in with 11 pieces of bags but unfortunately we got check-in tags of only 10 pcs. I noticed that my baggage was missed only after arriving in Ktm Airport baggage claim belts.
I reported the information at local counter at Ktm airport, informed Air India office, wrote to lost and found section of Air India, GMR, CISF. The GMR authority has already responded that they do not have luggage with specification matching with my bags. It is most likely that the bag is still with Air India’s custody. They are not being accountable and not taking it seriously to look into their godown!!! Any help |
