Etihad airways: worst first class in the planet!
I could make three complaints with the following but I cannot afford losing much more time with this. I just want to make you aware about the lack of quality of etihad airways airline.
I booked a first class trip from Abu Dhabi to New York and I was happy because I was expecting a good experience for this trip.
1. As soon as I arrived into the airport and checked in the first surprise is that the lounge allocated was not the first one because they were making so repairs so they transferred us to a middle to low class business class lounge ( I have paid for a first class ticket not for this!!).
2.Once in the plane I went to sleep for two hours and when I woke up I asked for my meal. According to first class standards you can order it any time. I order the more simple thing: a steak with mush potatoes, nothing really fancy. They said they run out of steaks!! In a first class service so I had to eat chicken. That tells you what is what you will you be paying for with this etihad airline. They call themselves the best first class airline in the world??
3.Once in New York and on my return to Abu Dhabi I was suppose to be picked up by the chauffeur and it was booked properly with the address of the hotel. On the day of departure the chauffeur was not there so I had to call the service center and make an international call with all the costs included in such a call. It took 10 minutes to find out the chauffeur was park in the street next to the hotel because he said he couldn't enter in the drop point. This is completely not true because I was there and there were constant limo and taxis coming in to drop and picking up customers.
This is another example of what is the service provide by etihad airlines. You are paying a huge amount of money and this company is only make up but nothing real. Any other company can do better!!
