I booked a flight on Air berlins web site.I was given the option of the page in German Spanish or English.Of course i am English.The page asked for FIRST NAME and LAST NAME and date of birth.It did not ask for FIRST NAMES or LAST NAMES or FULL NAME.I gave what i was asked for?At the airport,ALICANTE,check in was refused as they say there is a name change?Info desk demanded 288.28e or no flight?That is 60e fine for name change,and 228.28e for a rebook of the seat?Bearing in mind 97.12e was paid on booking?This occured in SEPT12,since then i have emailed Berlin many times asking for justification.THEY IGNORE ME.Are these airlines GOD,are they untouchable,are they allowed to do what ever they chose and charge whatever they want as they see fit?I even sent a registered LETTER to the CEO,being sure i would get a reply from his secretary at least?NOTHING.
