Default Why Delta doesn't respond?

I flew into JFK from Ankara, Turkey. I was to travel on to ATL, then Birmingham, AL. 6 days later I was to leave for San Diego CA. I will make this post short and not bore anyone with the blow by blow details but I ended up stuck in LGA for close to 3 days. The words "act of God" kept being said as I watched other flights take off. I am sad to say that Delta never even offered me a class of water, let alone a meal. I slept on the sticky floor of LGA (accompanied by my teenage son).

I became so fatigued at one point that I took out my medical file to show that I have serious health problems. Not that i thought I needed to inform them before since I never dreamt I would be in an airport for almost 3 days. That didn't help either.

I finally made it to BHM but of course, no luggage. That didn't arrive for ANOTHER 2 days. Actually i should say that the reason I got my suitcases 2 days later and not more was because I kept going to the airport to look for them. Of course they all didn't come in on the same time. i even found 1 of them with a UNITED tag on it with a note saying that it was to be delivered to some one in Bessmer, AL. I don't even know where that is!

Last year I was caught up in the liquid scare and my luggage was 5 days late getting to me. When I did receive it everything was wet inside. i wrote an e-mail to delta and they never acknowledged it. So I guess I should have thought twice about using them again this year.

I wrote the "Customer Care" general manager a letter regarding this summers disaster. Sent it Certified/Registered. It has now been over 1 month and i haven't heard anything.

My children and I have almost 190,00 outstanding frequnt flier miles with them. What should I do next? Friends have said to send another letter, and to CC the Better Business bureau. Also maybe the State AG.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Anything from delta would have been appreciated. At the very least a glass of water.

PS...Just to let every one know that the pilot timed out on the first cancellation which put me in this weird travel dimension.

The best way to communicate with them is via www.delta.com and click on contact us. They have 30 days to get back with you per the customer commitment they said they would follow and have filed with the DOT.

Thanks, i did not know that....I had read on other sites that it is best to "snail mail" because people can so easily e-mail now that they are bombarded with complaints, small and large...I will also contact them by e-mail

please evryone , note that this website is not the deltA WEBSITE. I thought this site was a joke , but a lot of people think it the delta website .

YOU WILL NOT GET ANY ANSWER FROM HERE AND YOU RE BEING MISLEAD .

THE AIRLINES , IN GENERAL , TAKE CARE OF PASSENGER CONCERNS BUT DELTA OR ANY OTHER AIRLINES, HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS FORUM .

I AM SORRY YOU THINK YOUR AIRLINES DO RESPONND TO YOUR CONCERNS BUT YOU HAVE TO CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY
