I had a scheduled Business lass flight from Salzburg to Istanbul on the 07.Feb.2022 at 09:20am. I have arrived to the airport at 07:09am and the check-in desk personnel informed me that the flight is cancelled. We are 4 persons and 10 pieces luggages.
The THY responsible told me that he can change my ticket from Munich. The proposed flights at 10:50 and 18:15. He also said that THY cannot arrange transfer from Salzburg go Munich for 10:50 flight. If we want to catch this flight we should arrange my own transfer He said that you can use your own transfer and claim the fee from THY via website. He sis not say that the personnel transfer fee cannot be paid by THY. So that I arranged a VITO long for my claim (4 person and 10 pieces luggages) transfer with the cost 500Eur.
Then, I have claimed the transfer fee from THY.. I received response like, we will not refund your transfer fee since you dis not accept the public transfer which was offered for the 18:15 flight by THY.
This rejection reason totally since they dis not inform me that the cost of personnel transfer is not paid.
They are offering funny amount like 30Eur againes500Eur I paid.
