I was on a trip to New Delhi on Delta Airlines. My connection, however was on Air France from CDG to DEL. It was on a Boeing 777, so I didn't think it would be a bad flight. I was wrong. When I went back to my seat in the lovely row 44....towards the very rear of the aircraft, I immediately noticed it was the oldest 777 built. The plane was dirty and there were no over seat air control vents. We had to suffer to what they had the temp adjusted to. The particular area where my seat was, seemed to be the gather point for people for rather than the 3-4-3 configuration, at this particular spot on the plane it was 2-4-2 due to the narrowing of the plane at the tail section. If you even thought about sleep you were wrong. There was NO legroom. I must say, it's a toss up between Air France and US Based Spirit Airlines who has the reputation for the worst airline ever. The TV in the back seat was so small, and old, you really couldn't use it. The game control device didn't work. I asked the flight attendant for assistance but it was difficult to get her attention. I asked repeatedly for another glass of wine, but was only able to get 2 glasses out of the whole flight. It was so miserable I was hoping the alcohol would help the suffering. After the inflight attendants performed their duties, they just disappeared. They left a "self service" section in the back of basic soda/water and a cracker or 2, then later an ice cream bars that sat in the bin and melted. Unfortunately, I had to use the lavatory, and it was so dirty, I went back to my seat to get my sanitizer wipes to wipe things down. There was no customer service, and no boarding sense. It was like cattle in a cabin. For a flight of 10 hours, please treat your customers nicely and try to get them all to smile and or find another job, but not in the customer service industry. I will be making several trips to India in the next few years, and I will do ALL that is possible to avoid this airline. That has to be some of the worse international service/flight/plane ever.

Wow have times have changed. When paying for air travel the complaints are: the personal TV (for EVERY seat) was too small (I hear 42" plasma is coming to every seat soon), not enough wine, and slightly melted ice-cream....THE HORRORS!!!!!
