Default Ms.Mc Nasty flight attendants

Took AA flight 660 from St.Maarten to JFK. I was having a meniers attack and asked the flight attendant in the rear galley for some water to take my pill. She told me"get back to your seat, you don't belong here." just before I was going to throw up (part of the attack) an attendant from first class saw what happened and got me some water. The girl in the main cabin was nasty as could be. I should have stayed there and thrown up in her lap! If I didn't have frequent flier pionts I would be flying Jet Blue. When my points run out, they can go f**k themselves. No wonder they filed chapter 11.

I hope you will write to AA and report the bitch. Hopefully, enough people will do so that AA might "select" her for redundancy from their crappy airline.

I can say if you ever get a reply it will only say we are sorry blah blah blah. You will never hear if the woman was fired or what happened to her.

First off, NO ONE will ever get fired for "he said-she said" alleged rudeness. Would you want your job terminated over a verbal accusation? Didn't think so.

AA's not the best, and as they say, we're only getting one side of the story.

Default Agreed, he said/she said.

Passengers are often spring-loaded to think the worst of airline employees. The media berates the airlines and unfortunately, it's the popular industry to bash. In this situation, the FA might have been rude but who knows how this thing played out. The FA would not be fired over this. Not condoning rudeness but who knows what the other side of the story is?

No doubt she wouldn't be fired over this, just saying this person maybe thinking they will hear if what happens to this FA and they won't. Not much can be done with a he said she said complaint

Default Ms Nasty

You all heard the whole story. She was probably having a bad day. Who the F cares. Do your friggin job or quit. She was an older woman mid 50's so Im sure she didnt have her period. Truth is she was just too busy bull****ting with another attendant and I interupted them.

No one is saying that she would get fired on the basis of one complaint. I was suggesting people with that kind of nasty attitude don't treat people like that as a one off... I am sure she is a bitch most of the time. If enough people wrote and complained, the pattern might influence who AA dumps and who doesn't....

AA is another huge legacy carrier which is in bankruptcy because they are crap. Instead of allowing it to fail the government will protect it, allowing it to rip up it's contractual obligations to employees and suppliers, strip out costs by reneging on aircraft leases and emerge, possibly even bigger than before, by merging with US Airways. At that point, the US will have 3 mega carriers, Delta (after bankruptcy and swallowing Northwest), United (after bankruptcy and swallowing Continental) and AA (after bankruptcy and swallowing US Airways). These huge anti-passenger monoliths have created a system of hub monopolies which are driving down standards of customer service in the US airline system. They are protected by paying huge sums to PACs which prevents any pro-consumer legislation. Someone needs to wake up and smell the coffee. While AA sits in the shelter of bankruptcy, they are driving out competitors at Miami (Delta and United have practically withdrawn) and driving up costs. HOW LONG WILL US PASSENGERS PUT UP WITH IT?

While this flight attendant does not sound like the cream of the crop flight attendant. It seems out of line to right away brand her a bitch (and just rude and hateful for a mderator to say).
Just my thought. I am sure a non-naughty word could have been used to describe her.
